Caden's Life Falls Apart: Short story

A young 7 year old boy named Caden finds out that his parents died in a car accident and now has to go to an orphanage until he gets adopted. A few months after being at the orphanage, a couple with 3 other kids come in and adopt Caden and bring him home to planet Noctara. At first his adoptive parents were nice to him but after a while things changed between all of them. Caden's memories of his parents and life when he was younger were gone after he drank a special drink but ended up getting them back after a kid at school throws something at him. He finds out the truth of what happened to his parents and who his adoptive parents really are. Once he finds out about his adoptive parents, he runs away to a new planet hoping to never be found by his adoptive parents but then he gets a familiar knock at the door. Read more
